Case description:

Jinxing is an ERP system provider. They provide services to users through SaaS. Before moving to cloud vendors, they set up a data center in Guangzhou. As their business grew, they encountered bottlenecks:

Ø Application nodes need scalability to meet peak reporting at the end of the month.

Ø Database is growing rapidly and requires high availability

Ø The attached files are stored in the shared NAS, and there is a risk of single point of failure.

l  EC2, ELB, ATUOSCALE, S3

l ORACLE (EC2), MySQL RDS, MSSQL RDS, auto backup,

l  IAM, Role, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Config, Clouddviser,

project outcome:

ELB and autoscaling help solve peak performance issues.

l Using ORACLE dual-machine technology, Jinxing increased the availability of the database, reduced the risk of downtime, and reduced the burden of maintenance work.

l Using S3 instead of shared storage, Jinxing solved the problem of single point of failure.
